- Alexey, I ask diatchenko, for this position you get a lot of messages of hatred" from compatriots?

- Sufficient. But there in my mail folder "Other"...I see the first words of the message and such letters delete without reading. But I get so many letters from Ukrainians, Russians who live in Ukraine. For example, many messages on Facebook filled with gratitude and a very kind and warm words.

"What colleagues in the theater? You with them to discuss these topics? Or try to avoid possible clashes and conflicts?

I was lucky in this respect: I work in "Gogol-Center", which can safely say, we all, starting with the artistic Director Kirill Serebrennikov and ending with the whole troupe, are some views on what is happening. Therefore, no hassles I don't have and can't be.
Is it because "Gogol Center had problems with the authorities about one of the performances?

- There were problems not with the statement, and that the idea was to make some kind of a creative meeting with Pussy Riot. And to do it was banned because it is a state theatre. They say that if it was a private theatre, then please, and state theatre does not have any rights.

And with production problems. We have just now released a new performance and also thought that he can pounce. But until smooth sailing but God's grace. Perhaps because it's the end of the theatrical season, and they are tightly will take next.

- What can you do, from the policy now is not to leave anyone. Take, for example, letters of representatives of Russian intellectuals in defense of Putin's invasion of the Crimea. We are still shocked at how this and other campaign could support your favorite Russian writers, actors, Directors. Say it because people getting killed? Or they sincerely believe all this rave about aggressors, fascists, etc.?

- In relation to those people I know: I don't think they do under pressure. I guess they do it instinctively - as people used to put their signatures under Brezhnev, under Stalin. Subscribe mechanically because it is necessary. In General, this mechanism I, frankly, not very clear. Another thing, when around Petersburg hang posters about what sets Opera rally "Crimea!", in which everything will happen at the Palace square, and it puts such Director Alexander...Well, this is really an example of idiocy, when man decides to it on their own (this, of course, getting a huge amount of money from the budget). And all the rest...said to sign, well, will sign. Was asked to sign it - sign it...

Note: most of the people who signed the letter for the annexation of the Crimea - the same names appeared in the other infamous letters: and against Khodorkovsky, and the closure of the TV channel "Rain"...

"Yes, Yes, absolutely. These are people who are lured with all well as they think. Although "good" is from time to time...of Course, but disgust, these characters are nothing in me is not called. But I don't have for them some kind of "class hatred"...

However, there are also people who sign letters totally opposite nature. There is a letter, which was signed by Ludmila Ulitskaya, Liya Akhedzhakova, Oleg Basilashvili, many journalists "Echo of Moscow"...

- Many years of TV we heard the mantra about brotherly peoples, about the "forever linked fate." Explain why Putin with his anti-Ukrainian course support 83%? For many this does not fit in my head.

- Yes, this is a terrible trend. And the main role in this, of course, played propaganda, completely fascist role of our television, our media. Because what channel does not include the First, NTV, "Russia", the other is all endless streams of misinformation! People zombify - not only on television, but also radio, including stations entertainment profile. In the news is watering the dirt of Ukraine "Kyiv junta" and so on. Oh, and the important role played by all these jingoistic appeals to Putin. Here all along, and it's hard to say exactly what stimulated these 83% support. But the main role, in my opinion, is all this propaganda machine.

- Well, how do you then get information about the war?

- Well, first Ukrainian channels: "24", "5 channel"...

Of course, I understand everything...Besides, I trust the same Facebook - not all users, of course, but there are wonderful people, journalists, which I believe and which I personally know. The same Arkady Babchenko, which goes up and then tells about his experiences puts photo, video... something I see on CNN and other foreign channels and sites. Fortunately, it is still possible.

Get information and from their good friends, colleagues from Kiev, Odessa, whom I believe. And I myself at the end of April was in Kiev...

And how do you like the situation in the capital? Because if you read the Russian media, it was dangerous to be: everywhere junta, rampant Right sector. You in Kyiv something like saw?

- No, I beg you...I, of course, was there only one day, I had samples of makeup for one movie, which relieves my very good old friend, Director. And for four hours we managed to walk around Kiev, including the Maidan. And even on the Maidan, I noticed only the Russian language. Yeah, sounds and Ukrainian language, but if you will ask a question in Russian, you too will answer in Russian, and friendly.

What struck me on the Maidan: I do not know now, but then there was perfectly clean. The warriors Defense was forbidden to smoke in certain places - for example, where they killed a large number of activists. We saw the warm, friendly people. - 83% support Putin in the Russian society is, of course, very much. But the remaining 17%, taking into account the Russian scale too much. What, in your opinion, can each of these people so that we never quarreled for centuries?

It's a very difficult question. From me, unfortunately, is not independent, but what can Russia do? Immediately stop all this anti-Ukrainian hysteria in the media; immediate withdrawal of troops, all these groups of militia is the people's will". And to leave Ukraine alone! To give the country inside yourself to understand. Not to meddle, not to advise, not to lie, not to do any crazy statements that makes our foreign Minister Lavrov. Not to bitch, not turn upside the head and so on
 I say very trivial truths, but we must act. And in Russia there are people who support Ukraine in this tragedy. Yes, certainly the minority, but, nevertheless, I hope that our leaders will have enough common sense to this situation as something to be sorted out. Well, if not enough, then let's hope that the European sanctions will result in a sense of all this trash, which now sits in the Kremlin. I'm not talking about the Federation Council, headed by Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko, who gave the go-ahead to the annexation of the Crimea. Ibid Putin, as if observing the formality sent as the request. So they approved all at the minute!

We, unfortunately, Ukraine is not yet possible. While the propaganda machine works, and in stores in the free market is vodka and sausage...unfortunately, our people deeply care about their neighbors.

- You criticize their own people. But we also need to see from their own mistakes. In wartime, any enemy propaganda generates a counter-propaganda, and in the society formed the kinks. Tell me, what are we doing wrong? Is there something that with all your warm attitude towards the present Ukraine, you cringe?

I don't even know...and what events do you think should be less?

- Well, for example, we have just one world smear all Russians? In the same social networks you encounter some total rejection of Russians in General?

"Well, that is except here I really can recommend many Ukrainian people on the same Facebook: do not be so brazen to say that "all Russians - fascists". Because it just works exactly the opposite - on the arm of our government! And don't call Russia a country that hates Ukraine. Because it's not. And I am more than sure, that's such a sincere hatred in Russia, no one, except a few idiots. It's not hatred, it is this position is held by a person under the influence of continuing the Sabbath on the Russian TV. And so someone really hate...I don't know, I must be quite a snarling scum to truly feel righteous hatred against Ukraine and its citizens.

On the other hand, consider the events near the Russian Embassy. Participants immediately began to blame: behold, they say, you yourself Putin and provoke...But if people truly have no output? And because none of this Embassy is not blasted - turned car. I do not justify, God forbid! But in these moments of despair (and it happened the next day after a plane crash) people hardly think about the consequences; he doesn't care, does it on hand to Putin or someone else. This reaction is national vitality that is hard to contain.

Another thing - the performance of your Minister of foreign Affairs with the words "Putin - x#lo". This is really strange, and here I can not agree. With all that I think that Putin's#lo! (laughs). But still: when it sounds from the lips of the Minister of foreign Affairs, then, of course, this is a great gift Kiselev, Mamontov and all our pseudojournalists circles.

Actors often perceive the surrounding events through the prism of the roles played and read books. Tell us what the works of Alexey diatchenko associated taking place in Russia, and the Russian-Ukrainian war?

See even in the theater, and in our film, as all the people who open the role and dare to say some words in support of Ukraine, neutralized. I'm experienced: for example, there is such a "black list" on the same "Russia", on the First channel, NTV, in which I, as the artist is present.

"Well, then you have these lists certainly worthy...

Well, I think, good, I personally, these lists have not read. But I know for certain that, say, my participation in some film projects associated with the Federal channels, it is not that undesirable, but simply categorically rejected. So I am now not removed. I only show old movies and serials. But new projects, when approved at the level of Director, producer, then the channel guide says no, Sha, is not necessary. The same thing happened again.
