In the National Security and Defense Council made the decision to appeal to the UN and the European Union to develop police mission in the country.

At a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council the president Petro Poroshenko suggested to enter to Donbass peacekeepers from the European Union.

The president Poroshenko gave the rank "Hero" of Ukraine" to the commander of the 128th Mukachevsky infantry crew protecting Debaltseve, to the colonel Sergey Shaptale.

The president Petro Poroshenko during a working trip in Donetsk region in the city of Artemivsk visited an arrangement of the Ukrainian military who were rearranged from Debaltseve. The president thanked the Ukrainian soldiers for courage.
