The Ministry of defence introduces two new species of the military reserve and territorial public. About that today at the briefing said the speaker of the Ministry of defense Victoria Kushnir, - the correspondent LigaBusinessInform.

"We need to attract to the organization of the territorial reserve local Executive bodies, as well as to unite representatives of public associations and volunteers to support the military reserve, and to introduce new types of reserve and territorial public", " she said.

According to her, the territorial reserve will strengthen the defense of the territories of all administrative units at district level. "The defense units will be formed in each district based on district and city military Commissariat," said she.

Kushnir added that in this regard the Ministry of defense is working to implement a system of General military training of the population on the Swiss model constant planned reserve training. "Now with the support of Patriotic organizations in many parts of the training of the territorial reserve for unpaid volunteer basis," she said.

Creating a public reserve, according to the defense Ministry, will allow you to combine numerous community organizations and volunteers to provide coordinated support for the defense of Ukraine. "It may be information, and volunteer support, training and involvement of members of the organization for military service and so on," she said.

Representatives of new reserves will receive the official status of a reserve public reserve.
