The deputies decided to deepen cooperation with NATO in order to achieve the criteria required for membership in this organization

Parliament abolished the non-aligned status of Ukraine. For changes to some laws of Ukraine regarding the abandonment of the policy of non-alignment  №1014-3 voted 303 MP, - the correspondent LigaBusinessInform.

The law, in particular, provides for the addition of laws on domestic and foreign policy, as well as the basics of national security of Ukraine's position on deepening cooperation with NATO in order to achieve the criteria required for membership in this organization.

Recall, the other day the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that Ukraine will not apply for NATO membership in the near future, although Kyiv expects to receive full membership in the Alliance as soon as possible.

This Yatsenyuk announced the steps that need to be done to the Ukrainian side on the way to NATO membership.
