Ukrtransekspediciya asked the carriers to stop selling tickets and communicating with the ARC territory for security reasons

State inspection of Ukraine on safety in land transport (Ukrtransekspediciya) sent letters of motor carriers and owners of bus stations to demand the end of December 26, ticketing and transportation of passengers on bus routes between the mainland of Ukraine occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. This is stated in the message the official website.

As emphasized in the message, such measures taken in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the ARC and invasion of the territory of the Ukraine armed forces, extremist parties and military aggression of the Russian Federation and to avoid threats to life and health of passengers."

The heads of territorial bodies of Ukrtransimpeks charged under the personal responsibility to immediately bring to the attention motor carriers and associations bus stations information about the requirements of the cessation of transportation of passengers and sell tickets on the bus routes that connect the mainland with the ARC.

Earlier, the railway decided to stop rail links to the Crimea. Due to security measures 27 December limited to the route of the trains in the Crimea to the stations of Novooleksiyivka and Kherson.
