The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a working visit to Zhytomyr region passed the servicemen of the Armed Forces of more than 150 pieces of military equipment and weapons, manufactured or remanufactured by the companies of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.

According to the Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the head of state, at a military airfield CMT.Ozerne the President presented certificates for equipment, weapons and small arms, and two military aircraft MiG-29 and two SU - 27.

Referring to the Ukrainian soldiers, the President congratulated them on the New year and Christmas and expressed the hope that 2015 will be the year for Ukraine's victory and the year of the world. "New Ukrainian army will support and guarantor of the independence and territorial integrity of the state", - said the President.

"I am honored to be the Supreme commander of this army," he said.

Among the equipment that was given to the needs of the army, infantry combat vehicles and personnel, transporters, military jeeps KrAZ "Spartan", automatic mortars, assault guns. The head of state got acquainted with samples of weapons and military equipment.

Poroshenko noted that currently the combat parts of units of the Ukrainian army is fully restored.

"While we are active hostilities, we have fully restored the combat capability of the parts departments, because on the 5th of September we had 20% of vehicles from ammunition. Today is 100%, there are some things to protect," he told reporters on Monday in the village.Lake Zhytomyr region after the transfer of the Ukrainian military new equipment.

The President stressed that the defenders of the Fatherland must be provided with all necessary.
