The Secretary of national security and defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has expressed condolences in connection with the tragedy that occurred in France on 7 and 9 January.

"Mourn with the world about the tragedy that took place in France. In the twenty-first century terrorism becomes a real threat to civilization. This applies both to the events in France, where the mad from the blood of religious fanatics kill defenseless people, and events taking place in Ukraine, where intoxicated against impunity Putin's mercenaries killing Ukrainians", - said Oleksandr Turchynov, quoted by the press service of the NSDC, passes the Censor.NET.

He expressed the conviction that "this is why the only way to combat this total evil lies in the unity of people of good will who choose the democratic way of development that respect the rights and freedoms of the people."
