Deliveries of armored HMMWV cars are confirmation of strategic partnership of Ukraine with the USA.

It was declared by the President Petro Poroshenko at the Borispol airport, meeting the first Humvee party, the Censor.NET  with reference to Ukrinform.

"I want to thank our partners - the United States - for full support of Ukraine. It is real and real confirmation of strategic partnership between our countries. And I as the President of Ukraine, as the Supreme Commander on behalf of the people of Ukraine, I want to thank the United States for a consecutive and firm position on settlement of the conflict on Donbass", - he told.

Except that Poroshenko thanked the States for recognition of Russia an aggressor, for initiative and persistence in a question of extension of sanctions of rather Russian Federation, and also for unity which the USA show in common with the countries "Big seven" and EU countries.

The president reported that in the next 45 days Ukraine will receive other Humvee provided by the agreement: "In the next week we will receive one more plane with armored Humvee, and in the next 45 days other of that volume that is provided within the program of cooperation with the United States of America will arrive".

According to him, the Ukrainian paratroopers have experience of management and effective use of Humvee many years. 

"I can tell that all cars after establishment of the corresponding arms will be sent, first of all, to high-mobile landing troops which carry out tasks in the anti-terrorist operation zone", - Poroshenko emphasized.
