The United States of America have to play the leading role in permission of the military conflict in the east of Ukraine.

It was declared by the former commander-in-chief of forces of NATO (1997-2000), the American general Wesley Clark, a wrote Censor.NET with reference to the Voice of America. 

The general called a mistake calculation that Germany will be able to take the lead in resolution of crisis.

"If we, the USA, constrain ourselves from the help to Ukraine, encouraging Germany to take the lead, the following Russian approach will show falsehood of the German analysis", - Clark is sure.

According to him, the German chancellor Angela Merkel - "the good politician, it can say as much as necessary that "there is no military solution of the conflict". "However the third Russian approach means at least that Putin sees the military solution of the conflict. We gave to Europeans chance to solve crisis on the Balkans within several years. At last we told: we will solve this crisis. We directed 30 thousand American soldiers to cement the signed peace arrangements", - Clark reminded.

According to the former commander-in-chief of NATO, in case of loss of Ukraine consequences for all Eastern Europe will be unpredictable and emphasized that Kiev needs to deliver the weapon already now.

"There is a probability of that present administration (the U.S. President. - The edition) will provide to Ukraine the weapon. It precisely will occur if Putin attacks. I would like that the USA provided the weapon before Putin resorts to attack as the weapon will be a good limiting factor", - Wesley Clark summarized.
