The defense of the nation and the state intensifies. And now the vision of the work of intelligence agencies in the war with Russia the country's leadership has changed. New requirements, new challenges and new challenges put in front of military intelligence in a hybrid conflict. Sharply increased requirements to the quality and timeliness of intelligence information. Dramatically increased the requirements for rational use of energy and resources. Military intelligence needs to transform in order to adequately withstand the powerful Russian security services and the armed forces of the Russian Federation.

A new strategy for the reform of the intelligence community must implement the new chief of the defence intelligence Valery Kondratuk.

Before the leadership of the Ukrainian military intelligence challenges:

- To establish effective communication and coordination with the General staff of the armed forces, with troops, to embed intelligence in the decision making and operational planning, in which it is not currently present;

- To optimize the management structure to simplify and reduce the number of units to increase the number of mining employees, to reduce support and management personnel;

- Provide a broad operational capabilities to obtain information on the main enemy – the Russian Federation;

- To attract to the service of new young people, energetic people, new methods and the quality of work, providing training and ensuring the correct application of new forces;

- Effectively use and enhance competent and competent staff, maintain and lessons learned;

- To ensure the application of parts of the SWAT team and razvedyvatel strictly for their functional purposes, and not as infantry and protection, to ensure proper planning and support of special operations, to provide growth opportunities to those special forces who "overlook point", which showed their fighting qualities, will, aggressiveness, initiative and independence during the war;

- To ensure the creation of a single intelligence structures in the area of the ATO, and to establish an ongoing collaboration with all units in the ATO zone, to accelerate the transfer and implementation of intelligence at the operational and tactical level;

- To ensure the work of the centre for space exploration, rapid decoding, analysis and transmission on the implementation of the data space intelligence. Thanks to our Western partners that Ukraine has received new opportunities to obtain data from space online;

- Reorganise and modernise units of electronic intelligence;

- Create human intelligence in the area of ATO and abroad. To reorganize the work of foreign missions, to hold the rotation and cleaning of the product – exploration of space for the "rogue" business trip needs to turn into active structure;

- To create a center for conducting information operations;

- To establish effective cooperation with volunteers and patriots of Ukraine in the case of obtaining information about the enemy;

- To establish effective cooperation with intelligence services of our Western partners;

- To reorganize the system of material support and staff incentives, to increase the prestige and authority of professional scouts.

Military intelligence enters the process of major changes – this requires the development of an independent Ukrainian state, survival in the face of aggression and occupation of our land.

Successful defense of Ukraine and the expulsion of Russian invaders is impossible without the establishment of a strong military intelligence.
