Poland will create a volunteer national guard in case of war.

About 300 thousand people will have the Polish national guard - volunteer military organization, which will be able to join everyone. It is reported by the Цензор.НЕТ reference to the Лига.

The idea of creating a guard belongs to the Ministry of defence of Poland. It will be a paramilitary organization whose members, in case of war will go to the front together with professional soldiers. They will protect the civilian population, as well as to participate in the protection of borders.

In peacetime, members of the National guard will assist local governments, among other things, at the elimination of consequences of natural disasters.

For three years, units of the guard will appear in the large cities and counties, and later throughout the country. The ranks of the guard will be able to join everyone: volunteers, reserve soldiers, members of paramilitary organizations, fire departments, hunters.
