We just published an article about that yesterday officially opened the hunting season on Putin, as the killer, the mobster and the author of various exploits spicy character.

Today Kiev seized the baton from London and opened the hunt for former Sacred Cow Russia - Gazprom. As it became known, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has fined Gazprom in the amount of 85 billion USD. If you look at the decision critically, it went not very far from "useless scrap of Paper" and, of course, has every reason to be abolished in any sane court because from a legal point of view it's a tiny document with the date of its execution.

From this we can draw two conclusions. First. Unfortunately, the government is in dire shortage in sane and competent specialists. If every decision, regulation or act repealed by reason of its absurdity, has led to the resignation of incompetent officials, the situation would slowly improve and in the end, the bodies and departments lead frames sensible. And so, there will be another disgrace that consistently demonstrate almost all power structures. Suffice it to recall how we have courts and prosecutors, to understand the depth of the problem.

The second conclusion is much more serious. The fact is that collecting such a huge amount of our decision on the authority of a non-resident — not really. The basis for such sanctions can only be the decision of the international arbitration or similar structures. Roughly speaking, the Antimonopoly Committee work outside the jurisdiction of Ukraine. However, even if this decision stands, it will be sold only on the territory of Ukraine, where Gazprom is practically nothing, besides gas that goes through the pipes to Europe, or which can be delivered to Ukraine. In the case of us gas supplies from Russia, Ukraine may try not to pay for gas in the repayment of the debt, but then there is a dispute that will go to Stockholm, where most likely will be a loss. In addition, a penalty may be imposed on transit gas. Here this point cannot arise in the real Amateur.

Very similar to what Europe is preparing mechanisms to seize Russian assets on previous court decisions, as in the Yukos case, and the future inevitably, mean — Ukraine reparations for the aggression. It seems that there is already agreement in principle of the EU on the withdrawal of export revenue for gas oil and other raw materials. This will be an adequate response to the refusal of the Russian Federation of compensation for lost business and a departure from the rule of international law. If this system starts to work, then with Russia will be over within a few months.
