Russians have a good proverb: "don't Wake the sleeping quietly". It seems that in the place where a normal person is obliged to grow the wisdom, Putin grew to something else and it swinging like a maniac in the alley. If not for his Imperial fantasy, everything would be quiet and sleepy, as it has become customary for the old and well-fed Europe. But he dredged up all that shouldn't be touched at all, and most importantly — at the same time.
Right now changing the very concept of NATO because it got real insane and the enemy, to contain which sent a huge power and money. 5 years ago the loud disturbances from the Kremlin were speech about a hypothetical installation of the new us ABM deployment area in Europe. That is, explicitly stated that the missile defense in Europe is a complete disaster and almost war. Now ABOUT the already unfolded and continues to unfold in two European positioning areas in Poland and Romania.Moreover, already built permanent bases for US forces in Germany not the usual and natural in Poland and the Baltic States. Everything goes to the fact that the southern flank of NATO closer to Russia with new bases in Georgia. And tellingly, now in the Kremlin are sitting quiet as a mouse and about universal catastrophe not remember. But all the above events — for decades!
We deliberately do not remember the possibility of placing NATO bases in Ukraine. Unlike the Baltic States, Georgia and perhaps Poland and Ukraine will join NATO, but the need for the bases already probably will not. This is referring to base ground forces. The aggression of the Russian Federation finally changed the size and equipment of the armed forces. As out of the crisis, the APU will have more than 500 thousand army, is equipped to NATO standards and internally — the new weapons available. It so happened that we now have the most powerful armored component.While we have old tanks, but as the integration in NATO, the situation will change. It seems that the domestic industry will give armored personnel carriers, tanks and missiles that will be not worse than Western analogues, but in larger quantities. The proof of it is the agreement about the exchange of military technology. However, for sure we will have air force base, the Navy and from the U.S. and NATO.
There is another point, which for some reason all ignore. Right now Turkey is one step away from gaining the status of regional leader. In fact, she has the most powerful army in the region. Its population is about 700 thousand people and equipped albeit not with the latest weaponry, but quite decent and most importantly, it has a growing military-industrial complex, able to produce vehicles, from tanks to drones and helicopters. Recently signed a number of intergovernmental agreements, under which we will be helping the Turks to master the production that we are doing great.We are talking about armored vehicles and some types of rocket technology for various purposes.
If Turkey will raise the flag of the coalition in Syria, it will become the very force that will be able to extinguish any regional conflicts. In principle, the preparatory work already carried out, namely the exhaustion of the conflict with Israel and restored the civilized framework of communication and interaction. This is an important moment for Turkish-Israeli partnership will give much more significant results than confrontation. And as it turned out, between the countries there are no insurmountable contradictions. The second important point completely masked the contradictions with Saudi Arabia.The countries agreed to respect the each other's interests and all issues be resolved through friendly negotiations.This was followed by instant transfer of the Saudi elite troops in Turkey, under its operational command.
Now imagine that the Kremlin, as always, played in Syria, and it is quite likely, and Turkey starts powerful operation to destroy all this Russian-sadowska-Iranian stuff. Having such an ally as Turkey, Azerbaijan will have the means for a military solution to the issue. How will this affect the separatist enclaves supported by Russia in Georgia — it's hard to say, but it is clear that they will be much sadder.And in the Russian Caucasus, the situation is irreversibly changed.
These three little stroke show how much the situation has changed for Russia. Now she has not just a hostile environment, but countries that will support each other in case of mess with Russia. Now Moscow is doomed to live with the neighbors who are watching the gait and shortness of breath decrepit beast. The slightest wrong move will lead to the fact that so many of those Russia has caused damage, will not miss the chance to get even for everything. Thank you Putin for it.
