
Scandinavia, the Baltic States and the United Kingdom have agreed to improve the exchange of razvedennymi and expand cross-border training its air force
Eight Northern European countries agreed on Thursday to boost cooperation in order to counter the growing military activity in the region, including increasing three times the number of flights by Russian military aircraft in the region. This was announced at a meeting of defense Ministers of the countries of Scandinavia, the Baltic States and the UK, according to Reuters.
The parties specifically agreed to improve the exchange of razvedennymi and to expand cross-border training of its air force.
"NATO has recorded more than 100 interceptions this year, three times more than in 2013, but the year is not over yet. We will not allow Russia to continue invading our airspace, " he said at a press conference," said the British defence Secretary Michael Fallon at the final press conference. He added that the British aircraft will continue the mission of patrolling the airspace of the Baltic States.
