Republican John McCain says President Barack Obama responsible for the senseless deaths of innocent Ukrainians"
U.S. Senator John McCain has strongly criticized U.S. President Barack Obama, whom he regards as responsible for the failure of Ukraine weapons. He said this, commenting on recent reports about the movement of Russian troops across the Ukrainian border, reports Radio Liberty.
"When I tell my constituents that after what Putin is doing, we still did not provide Ukrainians weapons, they don't believe it. They do not believe that we can see how Ukrainians die at that time, as we do not even provide them with weapons to protect," said McCain.
"History will judge this President not only as a failed President, but as someone who is responsible for the senseless deaths of innocent Ukrainians," says the Senator.
Republican John McCain is not the first time criticizes the Obama administration. In December 2013 in the midst of the events on Maidan he visited Ukraine and expressed support for the demonstrators, who demanded that the then President Yanukovych not to refuse European integration and to punish the perpetrators of the beating of activists on 30 November.
After the last mid-term elections in the U.S. the Republicans have increased their representation in the House of representatives and won a majority in the Senate. Analysts suggest that it may force President Obama who is a Democrat, to change part of his administration.
As you know, Russia continues to deny the presence of Russian troops and armaments in the East of Ukraine. NATO and the United States this week stated that confirm the reports of the Ukrainian security forces on moving in the Donbass heavy weapons and troops from the Russian Federation.
