President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite called Russia a "predatory neighbor, whose hands are stained with blood" and called on all to assist Ukraine in the struggle with Russia.

"Today Ukraine is not only fighting for their independence, but also for peace in Europe now and in the future. Thus, the duty of each of us - to help the country, which is struggling with a predatory neighbor, whose hands are stained with blood," she said.

According to Grybauskaite, a year after the refusal of Ukraine to sign in Vilnius the Association Agreement with Europe divided "marked with the blood of the front line".

"The front line appeared between freedom and slavery, between lies and truth. This line is marked with blood," she said.

The President of Lithuania said that the Ukrainians themselves have chosen the path of freedom, and it is unclear how other countries can resist resorting to bloodshed.

"Lithuania is proud that we were able to become free. Now we must help others to do it," said Grybauskaite.

Earlier, it was reported that the Lithuanian authorities have promised to start shipping weapons in Ukraine in the near future.

In addition, the Lithuanian President insisted that Russia has all the hallmarks of a terrorist state.
